Lots valued under 5,000 pesos are only accepted for their historical or cultural values.

Insurance
1.5 % plus sales tax will be charged for holding.

Handling
This fee is assigned based on the estimated low selling price of unsold lots, charged separately from advertising and insurance.

Taxes
All lots sold will incur an 8% ISR tax in the following manner.

Gavel price, less commission, photo and insurance. In case the buyer wishes that this tax NOT be charged, he must sign an agreement liberating Morton, Auction House, from all responsibility, attaching the following documents: copy of RFC and IFE voting cards.

Insurance
The insurance charge is based on reserve price, 1.5%, plus sales tax.

Handling
This charge is applicable to the lowest estimated selling price of unsold lots, charged separately from advertising and insurance. It will be charged according to the following chart.

Lot Commissions

Bequeathals and collections are treated separately. Generally, they are dealt with as complete units. Our appraisers will be sure to secure the highest bids.

Commissions NO Reserve
Lots with No reserve incur a one time only fee of 10%.

Note: Lots appraised up to 2,000 pesos are considered NO reserve. The auctioneer may select a piece according to his own criteria and may lower the price if there is no offered bid during the auction.

Advertising
Lots whose photographs appear on internet or auction house screen or any other promotion incur commission.

Handling

Date of Payment
